Description

Elevate your nacho game with marinated steak, melty cheese, and fresh toppings for a gourmet snack experience.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb flank or sirloin steak
  • 2 tbsp chipotle seasoning
  • 8 oz tortilla chips
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup pico de gallo
  • 1 cup guacamole
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup jalapenos, sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. Marinate the steak by tossing thin strips with chipotle seasoning, salt, and olive oil. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  2. Prepare the pico de gallo by chopping tomatoes, onions, and cilantro. Mix with lime juice and salt. Set aside.
  3. Cook the steak in a skillet over medium-high heat for 4-6 minutes until done. Remove from heat and let it rest.
  4. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and layer tortilla chips on a platter. Sprinkle half the cheese over the chips, followed by the steak and remaining cheese.
  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Remove from the oven and top with pico de gallo, guacamole, jalapenos, sour cream, and cilantro.

Notes

For a healthier version, use whole grain tortilla chips, lean meat, or plant-based substitutes. Store leftover nachos in an airtight container; reheat in the oven to restore crunch.
