- 8 oz Feta Cheese
- 2 Puff Pastry Sheets
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 2 tbsp Fresh Oregano (or 1 tsp dried)
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 Egg (optional for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine crumbled feta cheese, honey, fresh oregano, garlic powder, and black pepper; stir until well mixed.
- Unroll puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface and cut into 4-inch squares.
- Place a spoonful of the feta mixture in the center of each pastry square, fold corners to center, and pinch to seal.
- Brush the tops with olive oil and apply egg wash if desired.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown, checking around the 20-minute mark.
- Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve with tzatziki sauce, salad, or a selection of olives for an impressive appetizer.
