  • Author: admin
  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 10 servings 1x
  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

A delightful twist on a classic treat, combining crispy popcorn, melted marshmallows, and crunchy graham crackers for a fun snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Popcorn Kernels
  • 2 cups Mini Marshmallows
  • 1 cup Graham Cracker Crumbs
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  1. Pop the Popcorn: Start by popping your popcorn kernels. Use either an air popper or follow microwave instructions for pre-packaged popcorn. Once popped, place the popcorn into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Melt the Butter and Marshmallows: In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the mini marshmallows and stir continuously until smooth and melted.
  3. Combine Ingredients: Pour the melted marshmallow-butter mixture over the popcorn. Gently fold to combine, ensuring each piece is coated.
  4. Add Crumbs and Chocolate: Sprinkle in the graham cracker crumbs and chocolate chips, folding them into the popcorn mixture until evenly distributed.
  5. Form the Balls: Lightly grease your hands with cooking spray or oil. Scoop out a portion of the popcorn mixture and form it into a ball, pressing firmly to hold its shape. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
  6. Allow to Cool: Place the formed popcorn balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Allow them to cool and set for about 30 minutes.

Notes

For a lighter version, use air-popped popcorn and consider sugar-free marshmallows and dark chocolate chips for healthier alternatives.
