Description

An indulgent cheesecake that combines the creamy texture of classic cheesecake with the crunchy, rich flavor of Butterfinger candy bars.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups crushed graham crackers
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • Butterfinger candy bars, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix crushed graham crackers, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Press into a 9-inch springform pan and bake for 10 minutes. Let cool.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add sour cream, vanilla, and eggs one at a time, mixing until creamy. Fold in chopped Butterfinger bars.
  4. Pour the mixture into the crust and bake for 50 minutes until edges are set and center jiggles slightly.
  5. Cool in the oven with the door ajar for 1 hour, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  6. Before serving, decorate with whipped cream and additional chopped Butterfinger bars.

Notes

For the best flavor, prepare the cheesecake a day in advance and allow it to chill overnight.
