  • Leeks (sliced)
  • Mushrooms (cremini or button, sliced)
  • Gruyere Cheese (shredded)
  • Heavy Cream
  • Garlic (minced)
  • Butter (unsalted)
  • Fresh Parsley (chopped)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Wash and slice the leeks and mushrooms.
  2. Caramelize the Leeks: Melt butter in a skillet, add leeks, and cook until caramelized (10-12 minutes).
  3. Sauté the Mushrooms: Add mushrooms to the skillet and cook until tender (5-7 minutes), adding garlic in the last minute.
  4. Cook the Pasta: Boil salted water and cook pasta until al dente, according to package instructions.
  5. Combine Ingredients: Drain pasta, add to skillet with leeks and mushrooms, and adjust consistency with reserved pasta water.

Notes
