Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 cup Sloppy Joe Sauce
  • 1 loaf Garlic Bread
  • 1.5 cups Shredded Cheese (Cheddar or Mozzarella)
  • 1 medium Onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Butter, softened

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add finely chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until onions are translucent.
  4. Pour Sloppy Joe sauce into the skillet, mixing it thoroughly. Lower heat and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  5. Slice the loaf of garlic bread in half lengthwise. Mix softened butter with minced garlic and spread on both halves.
  6. Spoon the Sloppy Joe filling onto each half of the garlic bread. Top with shredded cheese.
  7. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let cool for a couple of minutes, then slice and serve.
