  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 Onion, diced
  • 4 cups Vegetable or Chicken Broth
  • 1 can Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash the banana peppers, cut off the tops, and remove seeds.
  2. In a large pot, sauté diced onion in olive oil until translucent.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Stir in ground turkey or beef; cook until browned.
  5. Add chopped banana peppers; cook for an additional 3 minutes.
  6. Pour in diced tomatoes and broth; bring to a simmer.
  7. Stir in cream cheese and shredded cheese until melted.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with cheese or herbs if desired.
