Description
An indulgent Chicken Caesar Croissant Sandwich that elevates your lunch game with flavor, texture, and nutrition.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 Croissants (or whole grain rolls)
- 2 Grilled Chicken Breasts (or rotisserie chicken)
- 1 cup Romaine Lettuce
- 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese (or nutritional yeast)
- 1/4 cup Caesar Dressing (or Greek yogurt)
- Freshly cracked Black Pepper
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken: Grill or pan-sear chicken until fully cooked, about 6-7 minutes per side. Use a meat thermometer to ensure an internal temperature of 165°F. Shred rotisserie chicken if using.
- Make the Dressing: Combine Caesar dressing ingredients, or use store-bought with added lemon juice for extra zing.
- Slice the Croissant: Cut croissant in half lengthwise.
- Assemble the Sandwich: Spread Caesar dressing on the bottom half, layer grilled chicken, romaine lettuce, Parmesan cheese, and add black pepper.
- Top and Serve: Place the top half of the croissant on the sandwich, press slightly to secure, cut in half and serve immediately.
Notes
For a lighter option, use whole grain croissants and low-fat dressing. Best assembled just before serving to maintain crispness.
