Ingredients

  • Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Italian bread crumbs
  • Marinara sauce
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Eggs
  • Garlic powder
  • Dried oregano
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the chicken breasts into bite-size cubes.
  3. In a bowl, combine the chicken with garlic powder, salt, pepper, and dried oregano.
  4. Beat the eggs, dip the chicken pieces in eggs, and then roll in Italian bread crumbs.
  5. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the breaded chicken, half of the marinara sauce, and half of the cheeses.
  6. Repeat the layering process with the remaining ingredients.
  7. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the cheese is golden.
