- 1 pound Chicken Breast, shredded
- 8 ounces Cream Cheese
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
- 1 package Puff Pastry
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to create the filling.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface to about 1/8-inch thick.
- Cut the dough into 4×4 inch squares and fill each with a spoonful of the chicken mixture. Fold and seal the edges with a fork.
- Place the filled pillows on a baking sheet and brush with melted butter. Bake for 25 minutes until golden brown.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in heavy cream, simmer, and add Parmesan until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve the pillows hot, drizzled with the creamy Parmesan sauce.
Notes
You can use rotisserie chicken for added convenience and consider healthier alternatives like low-fat cream cheese or zucchini noodles.
