Ingredients

  • 1 cup Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs (or panko)
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian herbs (oregano, basil, thyme)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken by patting dry and seasoning both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Create a breading station with shallow bowls for flour, beaten eggs, and a breadcrumb-Parmesan mix.
  3. Dredge chicken in flour, dip in egg, and coat with breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Fry chicken in a skillet with heated olive oil for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Make the garlic cream sauce by sautéing minced garlic in the skillet, then adding chicken broth and cream. Simmer until thickened.
