Ingredients

  • 2 cups grapes (preferably seedless)
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 12 tablespoons tart flavored sugar or citric acid
  • A pinch of sea salt

Instructions

  1. Rinse the grapes under cool water and pat them dry.
  2. In a bowl, combine lemon juice and honey (or maple syrup) and whisk until blended.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the grapes with the lemon juice mixture.
  4. In another bowl, mix tart sugar and sea salt.
  5. Sprinkle the tart sugar mixture over the grapes and toss to coat.
  6. Spread grapes on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for 1-2 hours.
  7. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the freezer.

Notes

For a vegan option, use maple syrup instead of honey. Different fruits like strawberries or pineapple can also be used.
