Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 2 medium Onions, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 cup Beef Broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
- 1/2 cup Ketchup
- 4 pieces French Bread

Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add a tablespoon of olive oil and sauté the sliced onions until soft and caramelized, about 10-12 minutes.
- Push the onions to the side and add the minced garlic to the center, sautéing for about 30 seconds before incorporating the ground beef. Cook until browned.
- Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, ketchup, and beef broth. Combine thoroughly and simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and toast the French bread on a baking sheet for 5-7 minutes until golden.
- Once toasted, pile the beef mixture onto each piece of French bread and top generously with a slice of Swiss cheese.
- Serve hot out of the oven, optionally with chips or a fresh salad.
Notes
You can use ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option. Add fresh herbs for garnish and pair with side dishes for a complete meal.
