Description
A unique fusion dish that combines traditional Korean bulgogi with the classic American cheesesteak, enhanced with kimchi and melted cheese for a delightful dining experience.
Ingredients
- Thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin
- Soy sauce
- Sesame oil
- Brown sugar or honey
- Garlic, minced
- Ginger, grated
- Kimchi
- Bell peppers, sliced
- Onions, sliced
- Cheese (provolone or mozzarella)
- Hoagie rolls
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Add the thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin to marinate for 15-30 minutes.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, drizzle sesame oil and sauté sliced onions and bell peppers until soft, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, increase the heat to high and cook the marinated beef until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Mix in the sautéed vegetables with the cooked beef for 2 minutes, then top with cheese and cover until melted.
- Assemble the hoagie rolls with the bulgogi mixture and top with kimchi. Serve immediately.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze the unassembled filling for up to three months.
