Ingredients
- Pizza Dough (homemade or store-bought)
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Lemon Zest
- Fresh Lemon Juice
- Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- Grated Parmesan Cheese
- Fresh Herbs (Basil or Arugula)
- Red Pepper Flakes
Instructions
- Knead the pizza dough on a floured surface until smooth and elastic. Roll it out to about 12 inches in diameter.
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C), placing a pizza stone inside if you have one.
- Drizzle olive oil over the rolled-out dough and brush it evenly.
- Sprinkle lemon zest over the pizza base followed by the fresh lemon juice.
- Add shredded mozzarella evenly across the pizza, then sprinkle grated Parmesan on top.
- Season with red pepper flakes and add fresh basil or arugula.
- Bake the pizza on the preheated stone or baking sheet for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
- Let it cool for a couple of minutes, drizzle with more olive oil, slice, and serve.

For a vegan version, substitute with vegan pizza dough and nut-based cheese.
