- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 cup Brown Sugar, packed
- 2 large Eggs
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract

- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Maraschino Cherries, chopped
- 1 ½ cups Chocolate Chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, stirring well after each addition, then mix in the vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl, then gradually add to the wet ingredients.
- Fold in chocolate chips and chopped Maraschino cherries into the dough.
- Drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden around the edges and soft in the center.
- Allow cookies to cool on the sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For thicker cookies, consider chilling the dough for an hour before baking.
