Ingredients
- Puff Pastry
- Mushrooms (Cremini or Button)
- Cream Cheese
- Shredded Cheese (Mozzarella or Cheddar)
- Garlic
- Fresh Herbs (Thyme or Parsley)
- Olive Oil
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, add mushrooms and garlic, sauté until golden brown.
- Mix sautéed mushrooms with cream cheese and shredded cheese until well combined.
- Roll out thawed puff pastry on a flour-dusted surface to about 1/8-inch thick.
- Spread mushroom and cheese mixture evenly over pastry, leaving a small border.
- Roll the pastry tightly into a log shape and slice into 1-inch thick pinwheels.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C), place pinwheels on parchment-lined baking sheet, brush with olive oil.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until puffed and golden. Serve warm.
