- 1 loaf crusty bread (sourdough or ciabatta)
- 1 cup mixed green and black olives, pitted and chopped
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese or Italian cheese blend
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup fresh parsley or basil, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice your bread into thick pieces, about 1 inch thick.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded cheese, minced garlic, and chopped olives. Mix until well combined.
- Spread the cheese mixture generously on top of each slice of bread.
- Sprinkle finely chopped fresh herbs on top of the cheese mixture.
- Place the prepared bread slices on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and the bread edges are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute before serving.
