  • 3 large Eggs
  • ½ cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 cup Water (or milk)
  • 16 oz Cream Cheese
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup Sour Cream (or Greek yogurt)
  • 1 cup Whipped Heavy Cream
  • 15 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • ÂĽ cup Butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, whisk together the red velvet cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water until smooth.
  2. Pour the batter into prepared cake pans and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  3. Beat the cream cheese until smooth, then mix in the sugar. Stir in the sour cream and fold in the crushed Oreos.
  4. Spread the cheesecake mixture over one cooled cake layer, top with the second layer, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  5. Melt chocolate chips and butter in a saucepan over low heat until smooth.
  6. Drizzle the chocolate glaze over the top of the cake, allowing it to drip down the sides. Decorate with more crushed Oreos.
  7. Chill for another 30-60 minutes before serving for perfect slicing.
