- 1 package Red Velvet Cake Mix
- 3 large Eggs
- ½ cup Vegetable Oil
- 1 cup Water (or milk)
- 16 oz Cream Cheese
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 cup Sour Cream (or Greek yogurt)
- 1 cup Whipped Heavy Cream
- 15 Oreo cookies, crushed
- 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- ÂĽ cup Butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, whisk together the red velvet cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water until smooth.
- Pour the batter into prepared cake pans and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Beat the cream cheese until smooth, then mix in the sugar. Stir in the sour cream and fold in the crushed Oreos.
- Spread the cheesecake mixture over one cooled cake layer, top with the second layer, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Melt chocolate chips and butter in a saucepan over low heat until smooth.
- Drizzle the chocolate glaze over the top of the cake, allowing it to drip down the sides. Decorate with more crushed Oreos.
- Chill for another 30-60 minutes before serving for perfect slicing.
