- 2 sheets Puff Pastry, thawed
- 1 cup Cheese, shredded (mozzarella or cheddar)
- 1 cup Spinach, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 Egg, beaten with 1 tablespoon water (for egg wash)
- Sesame Seeds, for sprinkling (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Unroll and lightly flour the puff pastry sheets, rolling to 1/8 inch thick if needed.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese, chopped spinach, and garlic powder evenly over the pastry, leaving a half-inch border.
- Fold the pastry in half and slice into 1-inch strips.
- Twist each strip and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden.
- Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For a vegan option, replace the egg wash with plant milk and use dairy-free cheese.
