Description

Ingredients

  • 2 sheets Puff Pastry, thawed
  • 1 cup Cheese, shredded (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 1 cup Spinach, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 Egg, beaten with 1 tablespoon water (for egg wash)
  • Sesame Seeds, for sprinkling (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Unroll and lightly flour the puff pastry sheets, rolling to 1/8 inch thick if needed.
  3. Sprinkle shredded cheese, chopped spinach, and garlic powder evenly over the pastry, leaving a half-inch border.
  4. Fold the pastry in half and slice into 1-inch strips.
  5. Twist each strip and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden.
  8. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For a vegan option, replace the egg wash with plant milk and use dairy-free cheese.
