Description

Delicious peach crumb bars with a buttery crumb topping, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh peaches, peeled and pitted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
  3. In a large bowl, combine sugar, flour, oats, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Add melted butter and mix until crumbly.
  4. Press half of the crumb mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  5. Slice peaches and mix with 2 tablespoons of sugar; let rest for 5 minutes.
  6. Spread peach mixture over the crust and sprinkle remaining crumb mixture on top.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and filling bubbles.
  8. Cool for 10 minutes before slicing into bars.
