- Optional: ½ cup chopped nuts
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, allowing full incorporation.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet ingredients, folding until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and caramel bits.
- Scoop heaping tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden; centers may be soft.
- Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to wire racks.
Notes
For a gluten-free option, substitute all-purpose flour with almond flour. For dairy-free, use dairy-free chocolate chips.
