- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
- 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies or candy canes
Instructions
- Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor until fine crumbs form.
- Mix Oreo crumbs with cream cheese and peppermint extract until smooth.
- Roll the mixture into small balls, approximately 1 inch in diameter.
- Refrigerate the truffles on a parchment-lined baking sheet for at least 30 minutes.
- Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until smooth.
- Dip each truffle into the melted white chocolate and tap off excess.
- Sprinkle crushed peppermint candies on top while the chocolate is still wet.
- Refrigerate again until the chocolate is set before serving.
Notes
For a darker variation, substitute white chocolate with dark chocolate chips. Store truffles in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two weeks.
