Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: Whisk flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a mixing bowl. Add milk and olive oil until a rough dough forms. Knead for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  2. Rest the Dough: Cover with a damp cloth and let it rise for 15 minutes in a warm place.
  3. Shape the Focaccia: Stretch and press the dough into a greased baking pan. Create dimples in the surface.
  4. Add Jam: Spoon jam into the dimples generously.
  5. Final Rise: Let rise for another 10 minutes while preheating oven to 400°F (200°C).
  6. Bake: Sprinkle with sugar or sea salt and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Cool and Serve: Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving warm.
