- 1/4 cup Sprinkling Sugar
Instructions
- Prepare the Dough: Whisk flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a mixing bowl. Add milk and olive oil until a rough dough forms. Knead for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Rest the Dough: Cover with a damp cloth and let it rise for 15 minutes in a warm place.
- Shape the Focaccia: Stretch and press the dough into a greased baking pan. Create dimples in the surface.
- Add Jam: Spoon jam into the dimples generously.
- Final Rise: Let rise for another 10 minutes while preheating oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Bake: Sprinkle with sugar or sea salt and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool and Serve: Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving warm.
