- Combine Ingredients: Add melted butter, egg, red food coloring, and the dry mixture to the yeast mixture. Stir until a dough forms, then knead for 5-7 minutes until elastic and smooth.
- Let it Rise: Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise for about 1 hour until doubled in size.
- Create the Filling: Mix softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl to form a spreadable paste.
- Roll Out the Dough: Punch down the dough and roll it out on a floured surface into a 12×18 inch rectangle.
- Spread the Filling: Evenly spread the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the rolled-out dough.
- Shape the Rolls: Roll the dough tightly into a log, slice into 12 pieces, and arrange on a greased baking pan.
