Description

This Roasted Garlic Goat Cheese Dip is a healthy and delicious alternative to traditional dips, combining creamy goat cheese with rich roasted garlic for a flavorful party snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 head roasted garlic
  • 8 oz goat cheese
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh herbs (basil, chives, or parsley)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the top off a head of garlic, drizzle with olive oil, and wrap in aluminum foil. Roast for 30-35 minutes until soft and caramelized. Allow to cool slightly.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine goat cheese and cream cheese. Blend until smooth and well combined.
  3. Squeeze the roasted garlic cloves into the cheese mixture and mix thoroughly.
  4. Stir in fresh herbs, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  5. Transfer dip to a serving bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for cream cheese. Serve with crackers, veggies, or pita chips.
