Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup milk of your choice (dairy, almond, or oat)
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped fresh strawberries
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, chia seeds, and a pinch of salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until well-coated.
- Fold in chopped fresh strawberries.
- Spoon the mixture into jars or airtight containers and refrigerate overnight.
- In the morning, stir the oats, add more milk if needed, and top with additional strawberries or yogurt before serving.
Notes
Letting the oats sit overnight allows them to absorb the milk and develop flavor. Add fresh fruits just before serving to avoid mushiness.
