Description

Crispy and succulent lemon chicken bites made in the air fryer for a healthier twist on a classic dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper in a mixing bowl and whisk until blended.
  2. Add chicken pieces to the marinade, coat well, cover, and let sit for at least 10 minutes.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for about 5 minutes.
  4. Place marinated chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket, avoiding overcrowding.
  5. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. Check internal temperature; it should reach 165°F (74°C). Cook longer if needed.
  7. Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes before serving with sauces or salad.

Notes

For juicier bites, consider using boneless chicken thighs. Marinate for longer if possible.
